Review: L'Oreal True Match Foundation

L'Oreal True Match Foundation.

In this photo, I just put my finger over the top and shook it until the pad of my finger had product on it, and I just swatched it on my hand by patting first, then a wipe down to my thumb at the end.

Here's after being blent in with my fingers.

While playing with this product and taking photos, I began to compile a small list of Pros and Cons in my agenda.

Pros:

  • Very light and airy- lets your skin breathe
  • blends easily with a brush or your fingers
  • easy to layer for extra coverage with no cakey feeling
  • very large variety of shades
  • SPF 17
  • Great price

Cons:

  • Light-Medium coverage, depending on skin type could be considered a pro or con
  • longevity- even with my Hard Candy primer, it seems to look as if I'm only wearing a little bit of foundation by the end of the day.
  • very dewey, I'm a fan of matte faces so it's quite difficult to mattify and takes some time to do
  • seems to be drying during colder months- i have combination skin and it is mostly oily.
  • access to product- it just has a screw cap, meaning you have to pour it out. It is very difficult to use every last drop of this product.

Overview:

I, overall, love this product. I've used this foundation for nearly 2 years and I love it. I've got this foundation in 3 colors, for my winter tone, fall & spring tone, and my summer tone, and sometimes I mix them to get the perfect shade for me.
